Liverpool vs PSG: The Champions League kicks off this week, with two of Europe’s heavyweights Liverpool and Paris St-Germain going head to head at Anfield tomorrow night.
And it promises to be a mouth-watering fixture packed full of goals.
The Reds reached the final last season with the most goals out of any other team, while PSG scored the most group stage goals in the competition’s history last term.
Liverpool vs PSG match preview
Both teams have enjoyed perfect starts to the new campaign, having won all five of their Premier League and Ligue 1 games respectively so far.
Liverpool will be riding high on confidence after Saturday’s 2-1 win away at Tottenham, which made it six games on the bounce they won at half-time and full-time.
But they are back at Anfield for tomorrow’s visit of PSG and it’ll be thanks to their incredible home record if they are to take down one of the favourites to win the Champions League.
The Reds are unbeaten in front of their home fans in their last 12 games (W9 D3) and lost just one competitive match on home soil last season – an FA Cup defeat to West Brom.
PSG struggled against top sides on the road in Europe last season, losing at Bayern Munich in the group stage and at champions Real Madrid in the first knockout round.
But they’ll need turn to free-scoring Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani to put that disappointment behind them against Liverpool, with the trio scoring 11 goals between them already this season.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee), Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren (both groin) are unavailable for the the Reds.
PSG superstar Neymar is expected to return to the starting line-up after he was rested in the 4-0 win over Saint-Etienne last time out, as is Mbappe who was suspended.
Defenders Dani Alves (knee), Thiago Silva (thigh) and Layvin Kurzawa (back) will miss the French champion’s trip to Merseyside through injury.

Liverpool vs PSG prediction
Goals, goals, goals. And a point.
Both teams to score is priced at just 5/12, but that coupled with a draw can be found at odds of 31/10 with Novibet.
It seems incomprehensible that either team will fail to find the back of the net with such exciting attacks and I think both sides will be happy to take a point.
